Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the combatants met personally to promote the upcoming boxing match.
Former two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to seriously aim to injure him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally known for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead targeted former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's greatest financial successes, regularly earning massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
